Avoid Speeding Tickets

Can you imagine a world where your vehicle could read the speed signs and automatically adjust the set speed of your vehicle to the posted speed limit? It already exists!

Available on select Ford vehicles is a series of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) features employing advanced radar and camera technology. ACC lets you set a cruising speed and distance from the vehicle ahead of you. When it slows down, you automatically do too; when traffic speed picks back up, you resume your preset speed and distance. Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go enables you to come to a complete stop when the vehicle ahead stops.* Now add Lane Centering, which scans the lane markings to help you stay in your lane if the system detects you’re drifting out of it. And that’s not all.

Finally, there’s Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, called Co-Pilot360 Assist Plus, which includes all of these features plus new Speed Sign Recognition that can automatically adjust the set speed of your vehicle to the posted speed limit. Ta da ... no more speeding tickets!

If you would like to learn how to use the IACC of your Ford vehicle, please check out one of the video resources below. If you’d like to talk to a Fourlane Ford Sales Consultant about buying or ordering a vehicle with Co-Pilot 360 Assist Plus, please call us at 403-227-3311, or visit our website.

* If the vehicle is stopped for more than three seconds, the driver must intervene and press the “RES” button or accelerator pedal to resume system operation.
